HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT CODEUP?
It costs us £20 per branch per month just to maintain the email and Meetup accounts. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but we now have nine branches (as of Nov 2016) and more on the way. That’s £180 per month already! If you would like to help us out, please make a donation via paypal using the button below.
Often businesses will want to give back to their local community by sponsoring volunteer run events such as CodeUp sessions. If you would like to sponsor your local CodeUp branch, please contact the organiser’s direct. Costs may vary, but we recommend donations of between £300 and £500 per month per branch, depending on size.
If you would like to contribute the overall organisation of CodeUp, please contact us on email@example.com.
MadLab is a grassroots digital innovation organisation in the heart of Manchester. As one of the organisation’s first supporters, MadLab has assisted CodeUp in developing from one branch, to the many branches we see today. MadLab also funds some of CodeUp’s core operating costs.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority was another of CodeUp’s earliest supporters, funding the ongoing Meetup costs for all branches in Greater Manchester, including Leigh, Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Stockport and Wigan, and some core operating costs.
NATIONAL CODING WEEK
Following on from National Coding Week 2015, CodeUp had just started to branch out into areas outside of Greater Manchester. In support of our work, National Coding Week funded our Meetup costs for two further branches for two years!
